The general goal of the Consortium is to support start-up and spin-off companies aimed at the development, promotion and transfer of RTD&D results achieved in Research Centers, Universities or high tech enterprises dealing especially with biotechnologies and related applications.

The purpose is to stimulate the growth of this sector with a high content of advanced technologies and strategic importance for the competitiveness of domestic industry.

It provides advanced technological, economic and administrative services. The services provided by the Consortium include: preparing techno-economic and financial feasibility studies; incubation; business development assistance to raise capital; temporary management of spin-off biotech companies, business planning and valorization of the research on the market.

The Consortium In.Bio has, also, a great competence in coordinating and project management of EU projects (as Life+).

Moreover, the Consortium was involved in dissemination and communication activities during his life and, in particular, in Life+.

Members of the Consortium are: ENEA – Italian National agency for new technologies, Energy and sustainable economic development, CRS – Conoscenza, Ricerca e Sviluppo, Inno AG (Germany).

Role in the project

The Consortium will lead the dissemination of the project results under WP7 (work package leader). As said below, the Consortium was involved in many dissemination and communication activities during its life and, in particular, in Life+ project.
